We were so ready for Juliet to start walking around her birthday. And it just didn't happen. She never used her walker but she liked walking around with the help of one of her little toy cars.
Squeals of baby glee and a very nice Patrick who didn't mind a baby whacking at his head a bit.
Nathan's football buddy.
Cute ghost poem Bradley made up for fun.
If you are very lucky, Juliet will share some of her food with you!
The big kids are very good sports about Juliet coming along and busting up their play time.
I don't think Juliet ever used her walker correctly, she just climbed in and out of it and used it as a tool to climb on the couch and give me heart attacks.
Standard post-breakfast entertainment for Juliet.
Juliet's first sledding experience. She loved it!
Swing time in the snow!
Juliet is wild and naughty.
Very long video of Bradley explaining the specifics of a game he made up. They have seen a lot of my videos explaining how to play games and were excited to film their own.
Much shorter video of Patrick explaining how to play OranguTwang. He surprises himself while playing, he is adorable.
Me: Bradley, be careful with the baby!
Baby: Hahahahahah!!!
The thing that gives the boy the most joy. Horsie-rides!
Juliet is a maniac.
Juliet had only ever shown joy on slides up until this point. Oops. To be fair to me, she went down this slide on repeat with great joy just a couple months after this video.
Bradley's birthday party that was two weeks early so we could get it in before everyone stayed at home because of the pandemic.
I know this looks bad, but at least we got them to stop jumping from the top of this to a nearby rock.
Official birthday cake for Bradley on his big day.
Three kids pushing a delighted Juliet in her swing!
Happy birthday to Patrick! He was so proud of the cake he decorated.
And we'll end with the most important one. Juliet officially took her first step at 14 months and 2 days old. She was so proud ... and then refused to do this again for about another month and a half. And then she never looked back and barely ever fell down. I guess if you wait long enough to walk it's pretty easy once you decide to do it.
